I heart love hearts

There’s something I find very endearing about love hearts. I have many objects of this shape, not in the least bakeware. Pictured below are a few favourites from my kitchen 🙂 The little heart mold (for Christmas from my friend JW) and the beautiful Le Creuset ramekins were gifts, and the silicone muffin molds (from an overseas trip) and cake tin (from Mitre 10 Mega, of all places!) were chance finds.

I even bought this little plant, a Hoya kerrii, because it was to cute to pass up. It’s a Hoya originally discovered in South East Asia, named after Arthur Francis George Kerr, a British physician, plant collector, and author of botany books. It’s amazing how much one can learn from Google and Wikipedia!
